Melissa - Patient Concierge

Melissa is a Jacksonville native and began her dental career over 27 years ago. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry and truly loves working with patients to meet their dental goals in every way. Melissa is a caring, empathetic, and joyful personality whose main goal is to make sure our patients truly enjoy their time here. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys traveling and singing and playing music locally when the opportunity arises with her husband and spending time with her amazing family.

Carla - Hygienist

Carla was born and raised in central California. After high school she joined the Army and became a dental assistant. While in the service, she had the opportunity to attend the Army Dental Hygiene Program. She attended Florida State College of Jacksonville in 2014 and became a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist. Carla is compassionate, down to earth,
and really takes the time to put patients at ease. She enjoys getting to know patients and building a long term bond.
Her goal is to make all patients feel like family. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

Stephanie - Hygienist

Stephanie is new to the Ortega Dental team. She is a native of Wisconsin and proud Coast Guard veteran. In 2022, Stephanie graduated from Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, CA where she earned a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. As a dental professional, she takes great joy in providing dental hygiene care and teaching her patients ways to improve their oral health. Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, watching sports, traveling, and exploring outdoors.
